Create new content block
You can create and edit content blocks in the content block section on any post type. Create a new item in a post type, for instance, a new page, open the content block section, click insert block, and edit the content and settings within the block editor.

1. Create a new post type item
Content blocks are part of post types like page, news, and knowledgebase items. To create a content block, we first need to create a post type item. This example uses the post type ‘pages’.
- Click the post type ‘pages’ in the side menu.
- Click ‘add new’
- Hover over the newly added page in the list
- The name will be (no title) – Draft
- Click ‘edit’
2. Open the section 'page blocks'
- Open de section ‘page blocks’ by clicking the arrow in the right corner of this section.
Your new page consists of multiple sections such as internal search settings, publish, categories, and languages. The ‘page blocks’ section is the content block section for the post type ‘pages’. For the post type ‘news’, the content block section is called ‘news blocks’, and so on.
3. Insert a new block
Click ‘insert block’ and select the content block you want to add from the drop-down menu.
